Introducing 2025-2026 District Governor Beth Whitelock

Hello, my fellow Lions of 22B,

I am looking forward to serve as your District Governor for the 2025-2026 Lions year. I appreciate all of your support and the guidance I have received from so many of the leaders in this great district along my journey the last few years.

While I am excited about the opportunities of success our district has with service in our communities, district and international levels, we have work to do. As I write this, our district is down 91 members. We must all work together to recruit and retain members. More members equal more service opportunities!

In July 2027, the International Convention will be in our own backyard of Washington, D.C. We are challenged as Lions to reach 1.5 million members by July 1, 2027. What a celebration Lions will have in D.C. by reaching that goal. Will you do your part in helping to achieve that goal? We can do it!

If every member in every club would sponsor and retain one member, Lions would reach that Mission 1.5 milestone. So, I encourage you all to reach for the stars and tell others our stories of service. Get them to be a part of this service organization that we are so proud of.
