To: 22-B Lions Clubs and Cabinet Members; Multiple District Leadership
The District 22B social event of the year honoring District Governor Beth Whitelock and her partner in service, Lion Craig, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Black Diamond Lodge in Fruitland, MD. Preparation has begun and we are requesting that all clubs announce this event to their members early so that they can mark their calendars to join the celebration honoring District Governor Beth and all the Rock Stars of 22B! Please place the announcement in your club newsletter and encourage members to attend.
An important part of making this event successful is to have clubs, individuals and businesses purchase ads in the Social Program Book. A schedule of sizes and associated costs is attached. It would be appreciated if your club could consider placing an ad in the book. Please include a copy of the message you wish included in this year’s program book.
Patron ads are also important to the success of this project. It costs only $5.00 to have the name of a club member and spouse included in the program, separate from your club ad.
We are encouraging all clubs to participate. Let’s get 100% participation! All proceeds of the ad book help defray the cost of the social along with a donation made to the 22B Charitable Foundation. We need your help to make this a success.
A night of good fellowship, good food, excellent speakers and a rocking good time is planned. Only you and your club can help make this a memorable evening. We are excited to host our International Director Liz Crooke from California. Let’s show her the famous Eastern Shore hospitality!
Please submit your club and patron ads along with your check, payable to District 22B and earmarked Social Ad to my attention at the address above. Your response is requested by February 1, 2026, so that we will have time to prepare the program for the printer.
