2025 Lions Vision Research Foundation Dinner/Brunch

Lions, Leos of District 22B,

As leaders in service, District 22B Lions are proud to host two upcoming events in support of the Lions Vision Research Foundation (LVRF). Both events will feature a guest speaker from the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins whose work continues to inspire and drive breakthroughs in scientific research.

Dinner on Friday, November 7th - Willards Lions Community Center, Hearn and Canal Streets, Willards, MD, beginning with a social at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner at 7:00 PM. A delicious buffet of roast beef, macaroni and cheese, red skin potatoes, green beans, rolls, tea, coffee, and assorted desserts will be served. A formal roll call of clubs will conclude the evening as LVRF donations are presented. Raffles, including one for a Smith Island Cake, will also be held.

Brunch on Saturday, November 8th - Schaefer’s Canal House, 208 Bank Street, in Chesapeake City. The event begins with a short social at 9:45 AM. Brunch will begin at 10:00 AM featuring eggs and cheese, pancakes, French toast, breakfast potatoes, sausage and bacon, tea, and coffee. We will conclude with the presentation of club checks. Raffles including bottles of cheer will take place.

Lions and guests are encouraged to attend and support groundbreaking vision research. Please share the information with your club members. Dinner at Willards will be $29.00 per person. The Brunch in Chesapeake City will cost $25 per person. Checks for dinner or brunch should be made payable to District 22B. Reservation deadline is October 30th .
