When you report your officers, your club will continue to receive important information, such as updated billing statements as well as have access to your club’s roster to make updates. It will also allow you to keep your meeting information current. Reporting your officers will update your district and multiple district and Lions International so you can receive support. In addition, your club will be able to display the correct club officer information on the Club Locator for the new Lion year.

As your club works toward providing helpful information to the newly elected officers, here are some helpful tips.

  1. Encourage your club’s newly elected officers to visit the Lions Learning Center (LLC) and take the club officers training courses available as they prepare for their terms.

  2. Familiarize yourself with the upcoming international dues increase. The approved dues adjustment took effect July 1, 2023. Dues for the 2024-2025 Lion year will increase to US$48 per year. To learn more about the updated dues billing and see the pro-rated billing for new members, visit the New Membership Dues Billing and Fees table.

  3. Year-end reporting: As always, we encourage you to complete your year-end reporting as early as possible before the close of the year. This includes making sure that all of your club's service activities are reported in the Member Portal and your member rosters are up to date. Not only will this help you avoid the year-end crunch, it will also help ensure a smooth transition to the new Lion year.

We recommend that you provide your new officers with the helpful links below as they prepare for their upcoming term in office:

Finally, make sure you assign your club’s voting delegate for international elections by June 19 so they can vote in the international election. If the delegates are not registered by end of day June 19, they will have to register in person with an authorized officer. Delegates must also register and attend Lions International Convention in Melbourne, June 21-25.

We look forward to supporting you and your club. Please contact us if you have any questions by phone at (630) 468-7084 or email at clubofficers@lionsclubs.org.

Thank you for your outstanding service!

Sincerely,

Your District and Club Administration Division Support Team
